I read a pre-release review of Tonight: Franz Ferdinand early on in the year that was absolutely scathing. It said that Franz had fallen off and could only muster uninspired art rock imitation. "Well that sucks," I thought, but when I finally listened to the album, I was pleasantly surprised . All I really demand out of my Franz is some sweet dance beats, slick guitar riffs, and upbeat vocals, and that's what Tonight delivers. "Ulysses," "Turn It on," "Twilight Omens," & "Lucid Dreams" all meet my Franz demandz.
