1. Lil Wayne: Tha Carter III - now thats how you let the beat build, bitch.
2. This football iPod speaker dock I bought at Walgreens for $10 dollars.
3. Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson - It is yet to be determined whether he will prove to be a more talented musician or alcoholic, but his self titled album is one of my favorites of the year.
4. Hot Chip at the Fillmore - Definitely go see them live if you have the chance. Try not to punch anyone in the face, tho.
5. Born Ruffians: Foxes Mate for Life - Jingle jangle, thats kind of what they sound like.

Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson is quite a name. What's he sound like?
Lo-fi folky rock music is how I would describe it. I really like last.fm's description of him as well:
23 year-old Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson is Brooklyn’s best-kept secret. Since recording an album with Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor and Chris Bear in 2006 (with appearances by Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio and Grizzly Bear’s Daniel Rossen), Miles has squandered much of his initial momentum and potential promise in an alcoholic haze and series of shambling yet, ultimately, transcendent live performances at some of Brooklyn’s most and least renowned venues.
Sounds good to me. I'll have to check him out.
Is that speaker dock a necklace as well as a speaker dock? It is!
Hold on... I must make a trip to Walgreen's.
Its honestly the coolest thing I've ever purchased in my life. Its has a caribeener so I can attach it to my belt loop. It sounds pretty good for a football. Its also available in soccer and baseball.
My favorite thing about the football is the obvious attention to detail the designers put into creating it. They probably thought "how could I make a football better?" and came up with putting stitching on both sides. The iPod and speakers was probably and afterthought.
The-Dream didn't make your list?!?!
I'm really digging the MBAR album.
