There is no hiding the ball with DragonForce. You know exactly what you are going to get nearly every time—lengthy, high-energy speed metal tales of battle and heroics and/or piano laden epic ballads of warriors and bad weather—but as awmercy wrote when we were excitedly discussing the imminent coming of Ultra Beatdown, DragonForce’s soon to be released album, “You can't have too much DragonForce!” This is very true. Based entirely on the album title, cover art, and the pre-released song “Heroes Of Our Time”—a rampaging chronicle about the enviable (if not idealistic) intergalactic life of Starchasers—I can say with near absolute certainty that this album will be amazing. Grab your iPod and running shoes and prepare to get psyched. More to come upon release…
This just in folks, "Heroes Of Our Time" in color...

That album art is rad. I might get the poster.
it's like transformers meets anime.
meets crack.
Okay. This post just provides greater insight into why Nightrain wouldn't like Usher... duly noted :)
True story: Once while listening to Dragonforce, I got so caught up in their music and imagery, I started charging and leaping as if I was Tolkien knight fighting orks with the balance of middle earth’s future depending on my every imaginary sword thrust. I just wanted to give you that warning for those who work out in public places.
Oh...my...god. Are you guys into L.A.R.P. and, like, playing Risk and stuff? hahha
Here's the crazy part, neither of one of us ever played roll playing games. That just gives you a hint at the power of Dragonforce.
This is true... I had to Google up "L.A.R.P." just to figure out what you were talking about.
I love all the close ups on the guitar shredding. You can tell this band is stoked at how fast they can play.
I witnessed the dance battle between the awmercy and the orks and it wasn't a pretty sight. I have to give DragonForce props though, I did stay to the end of the song.
LARP, haha. Not that there's anything wrong with capes and swords and... adult men who play with and/or in the aforementioned :)
